1. Who We Are

FindJoeFlow is a mental performance coaching service operated by Joey Hewitt as a sole proprietorship based in the East Bay, California. By booking a session, purchasing a package, or using this website you agree to these terms.

2. Services

FindJoeFlow provides mental performance coaching for athletes. Sessions may be conducted virtually (via Zoom) or in person. Coaching is educational in nature and is not therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. Joey Hewitt is not a licensed therapist or psychologist and does not diagnose or treat mental health conditions. If you are experiencing a mental health crisis, please contact a licensed professional or call 988 (Suicide & Crisis Lifeline).

3. Booking and Payment

Discovery calls are free and carry no obligation.
Paid sessions are charged at the price displayed at the time of booking. Payment is collected through Stripe and is due at the time you book.
Card authorization. When you book a paid session, your card is authorized (held) for the session price. The charge is only captured when the coach confirms your booking. If the coach declines or the booking expires, the hold is released. Holds may remain on your card for up to 7 business days depending on your bank.
Package codes. If you purchased a multi-session package, enter your package code during booking to redeem a session. No additional payment is required for that session.

4. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel or reschedule a session up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time for a full refund.
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the session are not eligible for a refund. The session will be considered used.
If FindJoeFlow cancels a session for any reason, you will receive a full refund or may reschedule at no cost.
Refunds are processed back to your original payment method through Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days.
No-shows. If you do not show up for a scheduled session without cancelling in advance, the session is forfeited and no refund will be issued.

5. Multi-Session Packages

Package sessions never expire. Use them at your own pace.
Packages are non-transferable and cannot be shared between clients.
Packages are non-refundable once purchased, except where required by law. Unused sessions within a package retain their value indefinitely.

6. Athletes Under 18

FindJoeFlow works with athletes of all ages. If the athlete is under 18 years old, a parent or legal guardian must book the session and agree to these terms on the athlete's behalf. By booking for a minor, the parent or guardian consents to the coaching services described here and takes responsibility for any fees.

7. Confidentiality

What is discussed in coaching sessions stays between the coach and the client (and the parent/guardian for minors). FindJoeFlow will not share session content with third parties. However, FindJoeFlow may be required to break confidentiality if there is a reasonable belief that the client or another person is at risk of harm, or as required by law.

8. Photos and Videos

FindJoeFlow may occasionally photograph or video-record portions of training sessions for use on social media, the website, or other marketing materials. By attending a session, you consent to this unless you opt out. To opt out, let Coach Joey know before or during any session and no photos or videos of you (or your child) will be taken or used. Any previously published content will be removed upon request.

9. Session Recaps and AI Tools

After each session, FindJoeFlow may send a recap email to the parent or guardian summarizing key takeaways. These recaps may be drafted with the assistance of AI tools and are always reviewed and approved by Coach Joey before sending. FindJoeFlow may also use AI tools to help manage communications and personalize your coaching experience. All client information is used solely to improve coaching quality and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

10. Coaching Notes and Records

Coach Joey may take personal notes after sessions—including voice memos—to track progress and prepare for future sessions. These are internal coaching records, not recordings of clients. They are stored securely and are not shared with third parties.

11. Virtual Sessions

Virtual sessions are conducted over Zoom. You are responsible for having a stable internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet, private space. FindJoeFlow is not responsible for technical issues on your end. If a session cannot proceed due to technical problems, we will work with you to reschedule.

12. Assumption of Risk

In-person sessions (including basketball training) involve physical activity that carries inherent risk of injury. By participating, you acknowledge and accept this risk. FindJoeFlow is not liable for injuries sustained during in-person sessions. If you have a medical condition that may be affected by physical activity, consult your physician before booking.

13. Limitation of Liability

FindJoeFlow provides coaching on an "as-is" basis. While we strive for the best outcomes, we cannot guarantee specific results from coaching. To the fullest extent permitted by law, FindJoeFlow's total liability for any claim arising from these services is limited to the amount you paid for the specific session or package giving rise to the claim.

14. Right to Terminate

Either party may end the coaching relationship at any time and for any reason. If FindJoeFlow terminates the relationship, any unused prepaid sessions or package balance will be refunded. If the client terminates, the standard package refund policy (Section 5) applies.

15. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including text, graphics, training materials, and blog posts—is owned by FindJoeFlow and may not be reproduced or distributed without permission.

16. Website Use

This website is provided for informational purposes and to facilitate booking. You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to access unauthorized areas, or interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to block access if we detect misuse.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects when the latest changes were made. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

18. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any disputes will be resolved in Contra Costa County, California.
